Erosion Control and Mountain Cleanup opportunities!
CASA's April 7 Adopt a Crag: Windy Point and Mountain Cleanup
When: this event took place on Sunday, April 7 Why: Windy Point is the epicenter of climbing on Mt Lemmon. Heavily used by climbers, tourists and others, it benefits from regular cleaning and erosion stabilization. Through our adoption of this area, CASA has committed to steward and protect these resources from user impact. We had several volunteers choose between cleaning up litter, as well as performing erosion control (building check steps and stabilizing loose banks). |
