Donate to CASA

Your Donations in Action:

The Climbing Association of Southern Arizona (CASA) relies on donations from the community to fund the stewardship work that we do. Your generous donations are the lifeblood of our mission, and they are used strategically to create a positive impact in various crucial areas.

Make a donation in any amount today to support activities such as erosion control along trails and within climbing areas, climber education events, updated bolts and anchors, human waste mitigation, and highway cleanup events.

⚙️ Anchor and Bolt Replacement: Maintaining the safety and reliability of climbing anchors and bolts is a top priority. Your contributions would help us purchase supplies for this effort.

🌿 Stewardship Events: Your contributions are used to provide essential supplies for stewardship events, including clean-up initiatives and conservation efforts.

📚 Community Education: Your contributions support the organization of informative and enriching climber education events. These serve as platforms to educate climbers of all skill levels, imparting essential and informative knowledge about respectfully climbing on indigenous lands, understanding local and regional climbing closures for raptors and Bighorn Sheep, and responsible climbing practices that keep our local crags safe.

🌍 Leave No Trace Efforts (Wag Bags): CASA takes pride in promoting Leave No Trace principles among climbers. Your donations go toward the purchase and distribution of FREE Wag Bags to the community.

Donations create a lot of possibilities that give CASA the flexibility to purchase supplies and equipment for our various program.

Here are just a few examples of how CASA would use your donation dollars:
  • Any donation amount would support the cost for education and outreach events
  • $80 could cover the cost of replacing ten bolts + hangers on a climbing route
  • $60 could cover the cost of new drill bits
  • $10 could allow us to purchase 4 wag bags
  • $75 could allow us to purchase that broken shovel or a new set of loppers
  • $30 covers the cost of a box of 12 work gloves
