Coronado Forest Service Information

The Coronado National Forest (CNF) has provided their Santa Catalina Trail Plan!

The plan identifies projects within the Mt Lemmon and Catalina Foothills for future trail adjustments for safety and protection of the biodiversity and cultural resources.

Climbers might find Project Highlight #4: Crags Against Humanity (page 59 in the report) of particular interest!

Stay tuned for details on how you can volunteer through CASA to help bring this project to a reality.

The Coronado National Forest website also has a climbing webpage!

It also includes a shareable poster about climbing responsibly – download the PDF and share with your org or gym. Let’s all work together to keep our forest and crags healthy for generations.
