CASA presents American Alpinist
Jim Donini Tuesday, October 22, 6:30pm Blackrock Brewers Indoor Venue CASA is very excited to announce that Jim Donini, one of the most accomplished alpinists of his, or any, generation, will be presenting at our first education event of the season. Please join us for this special event to kick off our exciting 2024-2025 season. The event will be hosted indoors on October 22nd at BlackRock Brewers. Arrive early to get your beer and seat! CASA PRESS RELEASE Climbing Association of Southern Arizona (CASA) is excited to announce that the Coronado National Forest has fully approved upgrades to the Crags Against Humanity climbing area as part of the Santa Catalina Trail Plan.
Full press release on Stewardship NEWS CRAGS AGAINST HUMANITY PROJECT
The Crags Against Humanity Project, an initiative aimed at preserving and enhancing climbing areas, has recently achieved a significant milestone. The project, led by the CASA Stewardship Lead Eric Ruljancich, has received NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) approval from the Coronado National Forest (CNF).
This approval marks a crucial step forward in the project's goal of adopting and improving the area known as Crags Against Humanity, located within the CNF. More information can be found in the Stewardship News. RAPTOR NESTING SEASON
