2023 CASA Photo Contest

The CASA Photo Contest celebrates Southern Arizona climbing and its community.

There were TWO Categories:

• Southern Arizona Climbing:
  • Showcase a climb, climber and/or locale in southern Arizona. Show us some try hard! Highlight the beauty of our crags, or take it in any direction that inspires and gets us psyched to get out there

 

• Our Climbing Community:
  • Help us appreciate the people we climb with every time we go out there belaying, sharing beta, hanging out, traveling, or celebrating. Make us smile and appreciate our partners!

PRIZES:
Of course there are prizes! For EACH category, there are three prizes!

First place: Petzl Arial 9.5mm 60m rope

Second place: Black Diamond Hot Forge Hybrid Quickdraws 6 pack

Third Place: Petzl Grigri


Random entrant: Every entrant will be eligible for a random drawing to win a rope, unless selected as one of the winners.

Contest rules:

• Photos must be taken/owned by the submitter.
• All submittals must agree to the terms/release on the submittal form.
• All photos must be submitted by February 15, 2023.
  
• You will need to select a category on submittal.
  
• You are encouraged to submit multiple photos.
• Prize winners in either category will not be eligible for the random prize.
• Prizes will be distributed locally, or shipped if that can’t be arranged. 
• CASA leadership not eligible for prizes.

• description of your photo - e.g., crag, location, people in the photo, etc.
• selected category (see above)
• statement of release to CASA for use
