Become a Secretary with CASA

Do you know—right now—where every single piece of your climbing gear is? Okay, roughly where it is?

Are you deadline-oriented and good at taking direction, but can also self-start as needed?

Do you like to write notes to keep track of things?

Here's the scoop on the position.

Responsibilities:
  • May be a board member or deputy director (but you don’t have to be)
  • Attend 4 quarterly director meetings
  • Help with guidance and support to CASA's operation
  • Read and respond to emails and other communications
  • Work with President and Vice President to gain and maintain an understanding of CASA's management
  • Work with President and Board of Directors to ensure CASA happenings are documented
  • Assist President in creating and publishing Board of Directors meeting minutes
  • Assist President where needed
  • Assist with and learn risk management/keeping & paying for insurance
  • Assist President and Vice President with coordinating volunteers when they are not available or as needed
 🕓 Estimated time commitment: 1-3 hours per week
 Term duration: Two years with potential for two additional 2-year terms
